Gary is a former police officer who spent 32 years with the Lancashire Constabulary. During this time he was engaged as a practitioner and a Senior investigator in the field of organised crime, covert policing, terrorism and Intelligence. During his last three years he was a BCU Commander in the Constabulary and introduced Restorative Approaches in Policing in his BCU and the Constabulary.

For the last 18 months Gary has been working with Restorative Solutions a Community Interest Company which is committed to developing and progressing restorative approaches in the public sector.

Gary has recently been engaged in projects with Drugs Intervention Programmes, Integrated Offender Management Teams, Intensive Alternative to Custody schemes and Restorative Approaches with Priority and Prolific Offenders.
