Roger Howard became the first CEO of the UKDPC in February 2007.

He was formerly Chief Executive of Crime Concern. Prior to this he was Chief Executive of DrugScope. Roger has also been a Director with Nacro: the crime reduction charity and during the 1980?s he worked in local government.

He has also been a member of the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs and the Criminal Justice Council and has acted as Advisor to the Local Government Association and the Association of Police Authorities.
