CHIEF EXECUTIVE, NATIONAL TREATMENT AGENCY FOR SUBSTANCE MISUSE (NTA)
Paul has been Chief Executive of the National Treatment Agency since its creation in 2001.
As Chief Executive Paul advises ministers and senior officials in the Department of Health and Home Office on all issues in relation to the provision of drug treatment in England. He is the lead advisor to the NTA board which is responsible for shaping the NTA?s strategic direction and leads the Senior Management Team in implementing the agency's work programme.
Prior to joining the NTA Paul worked for the probation service for over 20 years.
